Quality Assurance Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Exlar team!
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems and inspection processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks. The role contributes to product quality, process reliability, and operational consistency by analyzing data, resolving quality issues, supporting audits, and collaborating cross-functionally to uphold quality expectations across the production lifecycle.
Location: Chanhassen, MN (on-site)
Salary: $76,200 - $92,000

Your Challenge
- Develop, apply, and refine quality standards, inspection criteria, and procedures for receiving, in-process, and final product evaluation to ensure compliance with internal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze production data, review nonconformances, determine dispositions, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and process stability.
- Provide technical support to inspection and production teams.
- Interpreting specifications, resolving quality issues, and ensuring consistent application of inspection methods.
- Support customer, vendor, and internal department interactions by addressing quality concerns.
- Participating in audits and preparing required product assurance documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, recommending updates to quality standards, and supporting enhancements to test methods and procedures.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 4-6+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing quality support
- Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and regulatory standards
- Experience analyzing production data, evaluating nonconformances, and implementing corrective actions
- Strong understanding of quality documentation practices and product assurance requirements
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer/vendor interaction
- Ability to support audits and apply quality engineering principles in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical interpretation skills with attention to detail
- Commitment to continuous improvement, accuracy, and fostering a quality-focused team culture
- Must be a U.S. Person
