Air Canada is advancing a modern, customer-centric travel distribution ecosystem through New Distribution Capability (NDC) and innovative B2B digital solutions. These solutions support travel sellers, technology partners and other industry stakeholders throughout their interactions with Air Canada by providing effective digital experiences, reliable information, technical resources and relevant guidance. The NDC Portal and Agent Reference are among the key solutions supporting this ecosystem.

The Product Distribution and Payments team is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and motivated Product Owner, B2B Solutions to lead the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of B2B digital products, with a strong emphasis on solutions supporting Air Canada's NDC strategy. Reporting to the Product Manager, B2B Solutions, the successful candidate will translate partner needs, stakeholder requirements and business priorities into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs and high-quality digital experiences aligned with product objectives.

The role works closely with UX, content, technology, quality assurance and business stakeholders to improve the partner experience and contribute to the continued growth and adoption of Air Canada's NDC ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

- Own, maintain and prioritize the product backlog for the NDC Portal and Agent Reference, ensuring alignment with the product strategy, roadmap and business priorities established by the Product Manager.
- Conduct discovery and requirements sessions with business, content, UX, technology and operational stakeholders, and translate findings into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and supporting documentation.
- Responsible for backlog refinement activities and ensure requirements are well defined, understood and ready for development.
- Collaborate with UX designers to define user journeys, review wireframes and prototypes, and use available research, analytics and stakeholder feedback to improve the user experience.
- Coordinate content enhancements and publishing workflows through content management systems.
- Partner with developers, technical analysts and QA throughout refinement, development and testing, providing requirement clarifications and supporting timely delivery decisions.
- Review delivered functionality in test environments, coordinate business validation and provide product sign-off when requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
- Ensure digital experiences meet Air Canada standards for accessibility, responsive design, content quality, privacy and security.
- Assess the impacts of product changes on related systems, processes and teams, and document dependencies, risks and implementation considerations.
- Monitor product performance using analytics, user feedback and operational insights, and provide recommendations to support backlog prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the NDC Portal and Agent Reference, and communicate requirements, priorities, release content and delivery updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain knowledge of digital product delivery, UX, accessibility, content management and airline distribution trends and best practices to support ongoing product improvements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, digital product delivery or a related field.
- Working knowledge of user experience principles, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and usability is required.
- Professional fluency in both English and French, written and spoken, is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with content management systems and digital content publishing workflows; experience with Drupal or a comparable enterprise content management platform is a strong asset.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements and process documentation.
- Knowledge of web accessibility principles and WCAG standards, with the ability to incorporate accessibility requirements into product delivery, is a strong asset.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to provide clear direction and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative, customer-centric and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities.
- Experience with web analytics, user feedback tools or digital performance reporting is an asset.
- Knowledge of NDC technology, airline distribution or the travel industry is an asset.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
