Location: Menomonee Falls, WI Job Type: Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire (Customize as Needed) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift Pay: Competitive, Based on Experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing team in Menomonee Falls, WI. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring material availability, and coordinating with purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and customer service teams to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate will have prior production planning experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong ERP/MRP system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and available capacity.
- Review sales forecasts, customer orders, and production requirements to ensure on-time delivery commitments.
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, excess inventory, or production bottlenecks.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning activities and maintain accurate production data.
- Analyze production performance, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization to improve efficiencies.
- Communicate schedule changes, priorities, and production updates to manufacturing leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with operations to balance workload, labor resources, and machine capacity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management, planning processes, and workflow optimization.
- Generate and maintain reports on production schedules, inventory status, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or inventory planning.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment required.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JD Edwards, Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, and capacity planning concepts.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
