Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across a variety of client sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area .

This posting is for multiple vacancies across the Toronto, East York, North York, Etobicoke and Mississauga areas. We are holding walk in interviews on Monday Oct 5, 2026, from 10:00AM-2:00PM at our office: 235 Yorkland Blvd Suite 400 North York, ON M2J 4Y8. Candidates are required to bring updated hard copy of their resume, security guard licence and first aid and cpr certificate for validation. Candidates could be hired on the spot.

Our Security Guards can work in a range of environments, including:

- Aerospace Engineering (Pearson Airport area)
- Real Estate
- Other client locations require professional security services

What We Need from You:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Ability to complete written reports accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a combination of strong customer-service and security backgrounds are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
- Some positions will require applicants to hold a G class drivers licence due to the use of company vehicles on site.
- Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, night and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G licence.

Opportunities:

Industrial/Manufacturing/Aerospace Security

- Professional reception and access-control environments
- Employee and visitor access management
- CCTV monitoring
- Patrols and security reporting
- Dispatch duties via radio communication accepting all radio calls.
- Issue parking tickets for any infractions.
- Responding to parking complaints and emergency situations.
- Investigate and issue penalty notices to vehicles parked illegally within the client's area at Pearson Airport, including towing of vehicles interfering with traffic/ property access.
- Direct and control traffic ensuring safety of client employees and visitors.
- Provide support for special enforcement initiatives dealing with matters such as Accessible Parking, Fire Routes, etc.
- Prepare detailed briefs of evidence and complete necessary documentation/processes required for court proceedings when necessary.

Real Estate Holdings

- Foot patrols up to 30-45 minutes in length in and outside.
- Trespasser deterrence and emergency response procedures
- Dispatch duties, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services
- Perimeter and CCTV surveillance of client property.

Government Site Security

- Gatehouse operations: Traffic control with inbound and outbound vehicles.
- Foot patrols for trespasser deterrence
- Emergency Response
- Access control procedures and monitoring of employees
- Protection of federal government assets and information

Energy and Utilities Sector Security

- High level security duties.
- Access control
- Monitoring site parking lots and property
- Trespasser deterrence
- Supporting a safe and professional work environment

Construction Site Security

- Perimeter and site patrols
- Access control for workers, contractors, and visitors
- Monitoring equipment and materials
- Overnight and weekend security coverage
- Incident prevention and reporting
