Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a Parts Technician (Assistant Foreman) in the Huntsville, AL SMA, reporting to the Shop/Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.

Job Details:

- Wages start at $22/hr for entry level/limited experience
- Starting wage may be higher based on verifiable experience
- Fulltime/Permanent
- Day Shift
- Weekend work may be required
- Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits

Job Responsibilities:

- Communicate with Tech about needed parts for repairs
- Order parts from various vendors
- Create PO’s for parts orders
- Communicate with foreman on parts arrival vs back orders
- Assist foreman with scheduling if he is out of office
- Handles administrative tasks for the service team members to keep the project running smoothly. Including ordering equipment supplies, managing deadlines, workflow, and scheduling
- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Uncompromising focus on safety excellence

Qualifications:

- Work in an environment with noise levels that may require hearing protection
- Must have good, reliable transportation to make it to and from work
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties independently, without constant supervision
- Must be Drug Free and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and possess a Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team management and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel)
- Accounts receivable/accounts payable experience
- Service writer experience in equipment field a plus
