About this role
Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to work at our City of Richmond site for a 4-month temporary full time or casual position.
Position days and hours:
- Monday to Friday 2200 - 0600
- Saturday & Sunday 2200 - 0600
Payrate: $25.55/hr
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public.
- Keep site clean, tidy and a safe environment for all.
- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled security patrols, including checkpoint tours.
- Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
- Performing facility lockup and unlock services
- Conducting site checks and inspections
- Monitoring and supervising City facilities and property
- Access control and visitor verification.
- Providing security support for City events.
- Performing other security related duties as requested.
Your Must – Haves …
- Valid BC Security Licence
- Basic First Aid Certificate
- Class 5 Driver's License
