Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles components per bill of material requirements;
- Assembly of hydraulic/pneumatic systems;
- Perform functional testing on assemblies, per engineered drawings, test procedures and/or product line criteria;
- Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards and workmanship standards;
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches and written instructions to assemble parts or products;
- Maintenanace of machinery, equipment and good housekeeping in the work area;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Some technical training preferred;
- 3-5 years of expereicne in hydraulics and mechanical assembly.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Mechanical background and general knowledge in the use of basic hand and power tools, drill press and mill, tube bending equipment and hydraulic test equipment;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multifunction teams;
- Ability to balance customer demands against company constraints;
- Ability to operate a forklift and overhead cranes.
Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of lifting and moving material weighing up to thirty (30) pounds;
- Physical requirements are those typically found in a office and fabrication / welding shop environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety glasses and other PPE as required to work in fabrication / welding shop and yard.

- This position is located in Houston – Texas – USA;
