POSITION SUMMARY
Under moderate supervision, the Aircraft Paralegal assists the Aviation practice with projects related to the aviation industry. As a member of a professional support staff team, this position will also promote and maintain the goodwill and reputation of the Firm and maintain the highest level of professional conduct and confidentiality.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

- Transactions will involve the buying, selling, leasing and financing of aircraft
- Under Attorney supervision, prepare, coordinate and complete web-based registrations on the International Registry of Mobile Assets working closing with clients and support staff
- Management of Professional User Entity and Transacting User Entity accounts including permissions, delegations, authorizations and account maintenance
- Examine International Registry Priority Search Certificates and corresponding FAA records to verify ownership and identify existing liens, security interests and other recorded interests on the International Registry
- Ability to handle multiple transactions and tasks in a fast-paced environment

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with the International Registry preferred but not required.
Computer Skills: Skilled with MS Office Suite and other office products.
Other Requirements: Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to conduct research to learn new tasks. Strong organizational skills to maintain work lists, organize documents, and monitor deadlines and filings. Ability to ask questions, clarify issues, and provide project updates as needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills (comprehension & expression). Strong command of the English language, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style. Detail-oriented and ability to create, compose, proof and edit correspondence. Possess sense of initiative and responsibility to manage case load and maintain confidentiality of records and information. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured environment and maintain case/trial deadlines.

Work environment is in a professional office setting. The majority of activity this role performs will be sedentary work.
