Position Summary: Lead a 49-person centralized reconditioning operation supporting five Phoenix-area dealerships and more than 11,000 new and used vehicles annually. Own the process from acquisition or arrival through front-line readiness, with responsibility for speed, quality, cost control and building capacity for 2027 growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete new- and used-vehicle reconditioning process from arrival/acquisition through front-line readiness.
- Ensure inspection, mechanical work, PDI, detailing, photography, fueling, tint, cosmetic work and final quality control are completed promptly.
- Lead, schedule and develop approximately 49 employees, including technicians, detailers, drivers, photographers and support staff.
- Coordinate priorities across Chevrolet, Volvo, Nissan, CDJR, Isuzu and Kia operations.
- Work closely with General Managers, Used Car teams and the auction/ purchasing team to reduce time to market and support sales demand.
- Use Rapid Recon to track vehicle status, cycle time, accountability and bottlenecks; manage recon cost, vendors, repair-order accuracy and productivity.
2027 Growth Focus
Build a scalable operation that increases throughput, shortens recon cycle time, standardizes processes across stores and develops future team leaders. Success means more vehicles front-line ready, faster, without sacrificing quality or cost control.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of automotive experience, ideally in service, reconditioning, used-vehicle operations or another high-volume dealership environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing people, workflow and multiple competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical repair, vehicle inspection, PDI, detailing and lot preparation.
- Proficiency with Rapid Recon; working knowledge of CDK, vAuto and dealership systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Vehicles move quickly from arrival to retail-ready status; managers have clear visibility into every vehicle and delay; quality standards remain consistent across stores; costs and vendors are actively managed; and the operation has capacity to support Courtesy growth in 2027 and beyond.
