Car Prep Personnel-Westerville

Join the team at Byers Car Rentals LLC, a Hertz licensee, as a Car Prep Personnel at our Columbus HLE location. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining rental vehicles so they are clean, safe, and ready for our customers.

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

- Prepare rental vehicles to ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for customer pickup

- Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors, including windows, door jambs, trunks, vacuuming, washing, and removing bugs and debris

- Check vehicles for damage and report any issues to management

- Check vehicle features and ensure they are functioning properly

- Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels as needed

- Move and park vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the lot and between locations

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow company safety policies and procedures

- Work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Reliable and dependable

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to follow directions and company procedures

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work outdoors year-round

- Comfortable using navigation tools such as Google Maps or other GPS applications

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
