KION North America is seeking a strategic and commercially driven leader to own the growth, profitability, and long-term development of our aftermarket parts business. The Commercial Aftermarket Development Manager serves as the business leader responsible for driving the growth, profitability, pricing strategy, portfolio development, and commercial programs for the aftermarket parts business by working across Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, IT, our Dealer partners, and Global Teams.
The successful candidate will lead initiatives that drive revenue growth, improve margins, enhance dealer engagement, strengthen launch readiness for new products, and optimize the overall customer experience. This individual will operate as the central business owner for aftermarket parts programs, pricing strategy, portfolio development, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional business initiatives.

What You'll Do
Drive Aftermarket Business Growth
- Develop and execute annual growth strategies for the North American parts business.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across categories, dealers, and customer segments.
- Build and manage commercial programs that expand revenue and market share.
- Establish business plans, performance targets, and strategic roadmaps.
Lead Pricing and Profitability Strategy
- Develop pricing architecture and governance processes.
- Analyze market conditions, competitive pricing, and margin opportunities.
- Establish pricing guardrails and approval frameworks.
- Partner with Finance to improve profitability and business performance.
Manage Parts Portfolio and Product Readiness
- Ensure parts and service requirements are identified and available ahead of new product introductions.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to support product lifecycle activities.
- Oversee portfolio optimization, category management, kits, accessories, and promotional offerings.
- Support competitive and alternative parts programs.
Strengthen Dealer and Customer Success
- Translate dealer feedback and market insights into scalable business programs.
- Develop tools, training, and communication strategies that support dealer adoption.
- Partner with sales teams to drive execution against growth initiatives.
- Improve the dealer experience through business process and program enhancements.
Lead Cross-Functional Business Initiatives
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, IT, Product Management, Customer Service, Finance, and Global teams to execute strategic priorities.
- Lead evaluation and implementation of supplier partnerships and commercial programs.
- Establish governance processes, operating reviews, dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Identify business risks, remove barriers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Optimize Business Processes and Systems
- Define business requirements and priorities for SAP, dealer portals, reporting tools, and master data.
- Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and governance standards to support business performance.
- Serve as a key stakeholder for aftermarket-related system enhancements and process improvements.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years of experience in industrial equipment, material handling, automotive aftermarket, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or related B2B industries.
- Experience managing parts, aftermarket, category management, product management, pricing, or commercial growth initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional business programs.
- Strong financial, analytical, and business planning capabilities.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, business analytics, and commercial reporting tools.
Preferred
- Experience supporting dealer or distributor networks.
- Experience with SAP and aftermarket ordering platforms.
- Product portfolio, category management, or product lifecycle management experience.
- Experience leading supplier partnerships and commercial negotiations.
- Prior people leadership or matrix leadership experience.
- Material handling, forklift, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment industry experience.
