About this role

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

- Provide day-to-day leadership and support for Product Auditors.

- Train, coach, and develop auditors and inspection personnel.

- Participate in employee performance evaluations and development activities.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department.

Quality Assurance & Product Auditing

- Audit finished products to approved inspection standards.

- Review and inspect parts placed in questionable material areas.

- Audit spoilage from new inspectors and temporary employees to ensure proper inspection practices.

- Assist in maintaining and updating inspection standard books in partnership with Quality Engineers.

- Train auditors and inspection leads on new and revised quality standards.

Process Improvement & Documentation

- Identify gaps in quality tools and collaborate with Quality Engineers to develop solutions.

- Support the creation and maintenance of masks, templates, fixtures, and other inspection tools.

- Develop and update work instructions as needed.

- Support Serigraph's quality management systems and inspection processes.

Additional Responsibilities

- Perform quarterly lighting validations in inspection areas.

- Create and maintain product retain samples and records.

- Serve as backup for Receiving Inspection activities.

- Support corrective action effectiveness reviews with Quality Engineers.

- Promote waste reduction, process control, sustainability, and environmental compliance.

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ year of manufacturing or quality assurance experience.

- Experience training and mentoring employees.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Education & Training

- Blueprint reading/training.

- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business or related field is a plus.
