Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day support, optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Epic Willow applications, including Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory systems. Collaborates with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze workflows, implement system improvements, and support safe, efficient medication management processes. Evaluates software releases, upgrades, and new functionality to optimize clinical and business outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. Performs workflow assessments, gathers functional requirements, develops testing plans, and supports implementation of system enhancements. Provides application support, incident resolution, change management, and project coordination while serving as a subject matter expert for Epic Willow applications.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Clinical Discipline, or related field (Required)
- Experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
Certification/Licensure
- Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification (Required)
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant application support, clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or Epic experience with a Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Willow Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment
- Experience analyzing pharmacy workflows and translating business and clinical requirements into system solutions
- Experience with application testing, upgrades, change management, incident management, and system optimization
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and operational leaders on application enhancements and implementations

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $89,294.40 - $131,851.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
