About the location:
The Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles is a 12-story tower comprising 59 custom for-sale homes with outstanding views of the surrounding Beverly Hills neighborhood and Hollywood Hills. Operated by Four Seasons, our homeowners experience best in class amenities, including a courtyard pool and private cabanas, IMAX Theatre and Lounge, a fully equipped fitness center with climate-controlled studio, and a Resident’s Lounge offering a Food and Beverage program throughout the day. Our team will provide thoughtful, intuitive, and dedicated service to our homeowners, who will either live full time in the building, or from time to time as their travels bring them to LA. As part of the residence team in a Four Seasons standalone residential property, you will have a unique opportunity to define and establish the operating model for stand-alone Four Seasons Private Residences. It is anticipated that we will be able to create unique opportunities to deliver service excellence, but this will require agility and flexibility in our roles in the service of our homeowners.
About the role
At Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles, the Residential Bell/Doorman will work closely with the Residences Concierge team being a reference point for arrival and departure; ensuring that all residents' receive deliveries promptly, this will include supporting the delivery of food and beverage. The Residential Bell/Doorman will be the primary responder for parking and retrieval of Resident’s vehicles.
What you will do
- Assist residents with luggage, transportation requirements, deliveries, parcels, wine deliveries, groceries, etc. following instructions as specified in the Residence Unit Admittance Forms.
- Be the primary responder for resident’s valet parking needs.
- Assist with delivery of Food and Beverage items from the Resident’s Lounge, to the Resident’s unit and or vehicle/pick up point, and support service needs in the Resident’s Lounge as needed.
- Assist in Residential Lobby service; answer telephones at the residences concierge desk, deliver messages, packages, faxes, newspapers, letters, etc. to condominiums
- Provide information regarding resident’s events, services and amenities.
- Assist homeowners transporting items to and from private storage if requested; ensuring “Pick up and Return” form is ready for resident’s signature.
- Perform any special projects deemed necessary by Residences Assistant Manager and Residences Manager.
- Handle all Owner interaction with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; seek any opportunity to prevent owner glitches, assist in all enquiries in connection with the Residence services and facilities.
- The ability to communicate residence requests effectively to the Residence Concierge to ensure prompt completion of tasks.
- Relieve other residential roles for meal periods and in case of emergency.
What you bring
- Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role, a valid California driver's license is required.
- Secondary education
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Prior work experience in hospitality industry; ideally in luxury setting
