CNC Machinist Specialist - Tube Laser
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: First Shift - 5:00am-1:30pm, Second Shift - 1:30pm-10:00pm
Operator Pay Rate: $20-$27/hr
Set Up Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr
Location: San Jose, Ca
Experience: At least 2-3+ years of CNC Machinist experience

CNC Machinist Job Duties include:
? Set up and safely operate TRUMPF tube laser equipment to produce precision
metal components according to engineering drawings, work orders, and
customer specifications.
? Load and unload raw materials and finished parts while verifying the correct
material type, size, thickness, and job requirements before production begins.
? Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using appropriate precision
measuring tools, and accurately complete all production, inspection, and material
documentation.
? Monitor cut quality, make necessary machine adjustments, and maintain required
production rates while meeting MASS Precision quality standards.
? Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance while identifying
and troubleshooting basic machine, tooling, and cutting issues.
? Follow all company safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized work
area, and promptly report any equipment, quality, material, or production issues.
? Other duties as assigned
CNC Machinist Preferred Skills include:
? A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent educational background.
? Previous experience operating CNC laser equipment or working in a metal
fabrication and manufacturing environment.
? Specific prior experience operating TRUMPF tube laser equipment.
? Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, work
orders, and manufacturing specifications.
? A basic understanding of CNC machine operations, tooling, and troubleshooting,
paired with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
? A working knowledge of basic dimensions, tolerances, and common
manufacturing quality requirements.
CNC Machinist Requirements may include:
? Ability to properly use precision measuring equipment, including calipers,
micrometers, and other standard inspection tools.
? Basic computer skills with the capacity to accurately complete all necessary
production and inspection documentation.
? Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished components in strict
accordance with established company procedures.
? Physical capability to stand for extended periods and to lift, move, and handle
materials as required by the position.
? Capability to work efficiently on an independent basis while also communicating
effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
? Strict adherence to all established safety procedures, quality requirements, work
instructions, and preventive maintenance practices.
