Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Serve as the trusted technology adviser and primary internal IT resource across all HarborChase Communities and the corporate office. Provide oversight and hands-on support for the technology utilized by approximately 200 associates across 18 communities in 8 states, while partnering with third-party IT providers for larger infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity, and specialized projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ensure computers and end-user technology are properly configured, deployed, maintained, repaired, replaced, and inventoried for new and existing users.
- Function as the primary Help Desk for all technical questions, troubleshooting, and support needs across the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for network communications, connectivity, internet service, and technology-related outages.
- Manage IT equipment procurement, inventory, product lifecycle, shipping, receiving, and replacement planning to support business needs.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of associates, including computers, phones, accounts, system access, and equipment, ensuring a positive user experience.
- Manage third-party IT contracts and vendors, including service levels, renewals, pricing, performance, and negotiation of terms.
- Administer and coordinate upgrades to technical systems and maintain accurate documentation of the technology environment.
- Manage computer installations, repairs, purchases, and technology procurement for all communities.
- Coordinate technology installations and connectivity for new community construction, openings, renovations, and acquisitions, including network, internet, telephone, access control, cameras, POS, and other technology systems as applicable.
- Coordinate with external IT partners on larger infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity, and specialized technology projects; serve as the internal project owner.
- Configure and maintain network addressing and connectivity requirements for applications and installed technology.
- Manage all company cell phones, including setup, troubleshooting, devices, plans, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, vendors, service contracts, software licenses, warranties, service providers, and renewal dates.
- Evaluate technology solutions and make recommendations that improve reliability, security, efficiency, user experience, and cost management.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- At least five years of progressive IT experience, preferably in a multi-site organization. Experience in Senior Living, Healthcare, Hospitality, or another multi-location service organization is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and end-user support. Experience with Yardi, Sherpa, or similar business applications is a plus.
- Ability to manage vendors, service providers, contracts, procurement, and technology-related expenses while independently prioritizing multiple issues and projects.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions, take ownership, and determine when issues should be resolved internally or escalated to an external IT partner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, vendors, outside technology partners, and other contacts.
- Ability to travel periodically to company locations as business needs require.
