Direct Support Professional staff are the front lines for ensuring residents health and safety. About Us

North Community Counseling Centers (NCCC) is a nonprofit, mental health and addiction agency that has been providing essential services since 1968. Were on a mission to assist people in the community to achieve their maximum potential by providing behavioral healthcare services in a healthy, comfortable, and safe environment.

Duties:

Perform tasks and services necessary to maintain daily operations of a residential care facility

Must be willing and able to provide staffing coverage at different residential houses during your scheduled shift as needed

Document staffing, compliance, and quality assurance information in the shift lead report

Orient new residents to the program by explaining daily routines, expectations, rights, and other essential content outlined in the resident handbook

Socialize with clients (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, etc.)

Attend appointments and outings with clients (shopping, movies, museums, etc.)

Document daily activities in the activity log prior to the end of each shift.

Assist with ADLs, such as meal preparation and household chores

Medication Administration and Documentation

Documenting and submitting incident and safety forms

Develop knowledge of and remain compliance with agency policies and regulations.

Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings on Medication Administration, Emergency Safety, Standard Precautions, First Aid & CPR training

Attend supervision meetings

Conduct additional services requested by the clients or their service team that may improve their quality of life, health and safety.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with residential care or mental health services, preferred

Technical skills for electronic communications and electronic records, required

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be at least 18 years of age

Able to pass a background check and drug test

- Must have a valid Driver's License
