Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of company events, tradeshows, branch merchandising initiatives, and day-to-day marketing activities. This entry-level role collaborates with marketing, sales, purchasing, branch teams, and vendor partners to coordinate projects, maintain marketing materials, and support engaging customer experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn. This position provides hands-on experience in event coordination, merchandising, vendor relations, and marketing operations.

What a day in this role looks like:

Event & Tradeshow Support

Assist with planning and executing regional tradeshows, customer events, vendor showcases, training seminars, and company-sponsored events.

Coordinate event logistics, including registrations, attendee communications, promotional materials, signage, giveaways, shipping, and setup.

Support onsite event execution and post-event follow-up activities.

Maintain event calendars, project timelines, checklists, and schedules.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to help ensure event materials and services are delivered on time.

Collect event photos, attendance information, and feedback for post-event documentation.

Branch Merchandising Support

Support merchandising initiatives across branch locations to help ensure consistent product presentation and customer experience.

Coordinate the distribution of signage, displays, product information, and merchandising materials.

Assist with seasonal displays, branch merchandising updates, and new product launches.

Visit branch locations as needed to support merchandising projects and display updates.

Work with vendors and branch teams to support product display initiatives.

Marketing & Vendor Coordination

Assist with the development of event collateral, flyers, signage, presentations, and sales support materials.

Coordinate the printing, production, and distribution of marketing materials.

Help maintain brand consistency across customer-facing materials.

Coordinate with vendor partners to gather product information, marketing assets, and event support materials.

Organize and maintain marketing files, asset libraries, vendor resources, and promotional inventories, SharePoint

Project & Administrative Support

Track project timelines, deliverables, and follow-up items for marketing initiatives.

Assist with budget tracking, and general department administration.

Maintain organized records for events, merchandising projects, and vendor information.

Provide general project and administrative support to the marketing team.

What you can bring to us:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education or relevant experience will also be considered.

Up to two years of related experience preferred. Relevant internships, co-op assignments, academic projects, volunteer experience, and customer-facing experience will be considered.

Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to balance multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.

Experience supporting events, tradeshows, merchandising, or marketing projects.

Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.

Experience working with vendors or coordinating materials and logistics.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods during events and tradeshows.

Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

Work Environment

This position requires approximately 20% regional travel to branch locations, customer events, vendor meetings, and industry tradeshows. The Marketing Coordinator collaborates with marketing, sales, purchasing, branch teams, and vendor partners to support event execution, merchandising initiatives, and day-to-day marketing activities.
