Goal of Position
The incumbent is responsible to support the development and execution of Schaeffler’s regional corporate strategy in Asia Pacific by providing high-quality market intelligence, strategic analysis, and effective governance of key strategic initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
1.Strategy planning and development:
- Support the Head of Corporate Strategy Asia Pacific (APAC) in developing and executing the regional corporate strategy.
- Conduct economic, market, industry, and business analyses to derive actionable insights and recommendations for senior management, enabling informed strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate the conceptualization and development of strategic initiatives and business cases, as well as the annual strategy planning cycle.
2. Market intelligence and reporting:
- Monitor and report on economic, market, regulatory, and geopolitical developments relevant to APAC.
- Prepare and maintain regular economic and market reports, ensuring the quality of reported data and consistency of assumptions.
- Prepare clear and compelling presentations and decision papers in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including the broader Strategy and Business Development teams and the Regional CEO Office.
3. Strategy execution and governance:
- Monitor the execution of key regional strategic initiatives by tracking KPIs and milestones.
- Contribute to the improvement of strategy processes, tools, and reporting.
- Provide ad hoc support on governance, processes, and organizational development matters.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or a comparable field.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in strategy planning or business development within a multinational corporation, including direct responsibility for conducting analyses, developing recommendations, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- At least two years of hands-on experience managing programs and projects, including planning, coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones and KPIs, and supporting successful execution.
- Advanced hands-on proficiency in market research and data analysis, with the ability to translate findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Practical experience interpreting financial data and applying it to business cases, strategic analyses, or management decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing clear, compelling presentations and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
- Advanced presentation design skills, including the ability to structure complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a multinational, matrix organization, including collaboration with stakeholders across functions, countries, and organizational levels.
- Consulting experience is preferred.
