- Develop and articulate analytical framework to solve business challenges
- Extract actionable insights based on advanced analysis of transactional data across Financial Products
- Lead and develop reporting subordinates, especially around developing sound analytical approach to solve business problems
- Partners with senior business leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement solutions
- Perform daily DOD variance analysis across Financial Products, providing granular attribution of movements to market risk factors, trade activity, model changes, and pricing adjustments
- Design, build, and maintain analytical tools and dashboards to automate variance reporting, reducing manual effort and improving time-to-insight
- Understanding of data flows within CITI (at-least one Markets Products and on Non-Markets Products)
- Data analysis on derivatives & SFT products across systems for target state adoption and resolution of data gaps/issues
- Lead assessment of end-to-end data flows for all data elements used in Regulatory Reports
- Document current and target states data mapping and produce gap assessment
- Design and Implement data governance controls including data quality rules and data reconciliation
- Perform functional testing and data validations
- Manage data solutions within markets data domain
- Drive innovative thinking about leveraging new tools/methods to transform the analytical capability of the organization
- Understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies
- Ensure robust quantity control in the analytical processes
- Cross functional leadership (communication and influencing) to drive towards common goal
- The incumbent will leverage industry best practices, navigate and leverage internal relationships and become the key point of contact to ensure delivery and adoption
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience
- Experience in financial services
- Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems
- Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data
- An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
- Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business

- Deep understanding of Derivative products (i.e., Equities, FX, IRS, Commodities etc.) andSFT (Repo, Reverse Repo, Securities Lending and Borrowing)
- Strong Data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, Python, Pyspark etc.
- Experience with data management processes and tools and applications, including process mapping and lineage toolsets
- Actively managed various aspects of data initiatives including analysis, planning, execution,
- and day-to-day production management
- Ability to identify and solve problems throughout the product development process
- Analytical thinking – ability to break down complex data structures and processes to identify
- issues and develop logical models that meet business needs.
- Knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modeling, data management, rapid /
- iterative development methodologies and data governance tools
- Understanding of data governance issues, policies, regulatory requirements, and industry information affecting the business environment
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
- Data visualization skills – can help in creating visual representation of data models and provide input to UX / UI team to help make it easier to communicate complex model relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills – needs to be able to communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to gather requirement and develop clear documentation
- Excellent presentation skills, business and technical writing, and verbal communication skills to support decision-making and actions
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data flow and designs
