Job Description

- Provide first aid treatment and emergency nursing care to employees with work-related and non-work-related illnesses or injuries.

- Conduct nursing assessments and assist employees during onsite and virtual medical consultations, ensuring timely coordination of follow-up care and referrals.

- Prepare and submit the monthly physicians' attendance report to the Finance Department for billing and processing.

- Manage the company clinic, including medical supplies, equipment, and medication inventory.

- Coordinate with healthcare providers, hospitals and HMO partners for employee medical needs.

- Arrange and assist employees requiring transportation for home or hospital referral, ensuring appropriate endorsement and documentation.

- Conduct home visits, when necessary, to assess employees' health status and facilitate return-to-work or recovery monitoring.

- Assist in the implementation of occupational health programs, wellness initiatives, health education activities and disease prevention campaigns.

- Support compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, company policies, and reporting requirements related to employee health and clinic operations.

- Perform other nursing and administrative duties as assigned in support of the company's occupational health and wellness programs.

This role requires a unique combination of clinical nursing expertise and occupational safety specialization. The candidate must be a licensed nurse with Safety Officer certification and BOSH training, proficient in first aid, BLS, CPR, workplace health assessments, and HMO coordination. In addition, a candidate must be knowlegable of DOLE OSH standards, hazard assessment (HIRAC), incident investigation, emergency drill facilitation, and compliance documentation, skills that go beyond general nursing practice. Equally critical is their ability to design and implement employee wellness programs and mental health initiatives aligned with Republic Act 11036, as well as developing health education campaigns. This blend of regulatory compliance, risk management, and wellness program design is a rare, specialized competency not typically found among existing employees.
