Job Description Summary

As a Field Access Coordinator, you will play a critical role in improving patient access to innovative treatments by partnering with healthcare stakeholders to identify challenges, optimize patient pathways, and implement sustainable healthcare solutions.
This customer-facing role combines project delivery, stakeholder engagement, healthcare system insight, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with healthcare organizations, payers, and internal teams to co-create solutions that enhance patient outcomes, strengthen healthcare systems, and deliver measurable impact.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Joint Value Creation
- Deliver customer solutions aligned with portfolio priorities and regional operational plans.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities that create sustainable value for patients, healthcare systems, and Novartis.
- Assess patient pathways and healthcare systems to identify barriers to diagnosis, treatment, and access.
- Utilize healthcare system insights and pathway analysis to support service redesign and adoption of innovative solutions.
- Support the development of initiatives that improve patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
Customer Engagement and Solution Delivery
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers to co-create and implement tailored healthcare solutions.
- Deliver impactful customer engagements throughout all stages of project implementation.
- Ensure customer needs and perspectives are reflected through effective Voice of Customer approaches.
- Contribute to strengthening Novartis' reputation through high-quality and outcome-focused solution delivery.
Project Management and Delivery Excellence
- Lead and manage projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
- Facilitate pathway mapping, service redesign, and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate programs focused on improving adherence, increasing system capacity, and identifying undiagnosed or uncontrolled patients.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, milestones, and objectives.
- Manage project budgets and operational deliverables within agreed parameters.
- Ensure timely communication and reporting of project outcomes and progress.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with colleagues across Value & Access, Medical, Commercial, Therapeutic Areas, and Execution Excellence functions.
- Share customer insights and healthcare system learnings to support strategic planning and account development.
- Contribute to best practice sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Align customer solutions with broader organizational priorities and patient-focused objectives.
Governance, Compliance and Reporting
- Support the development of project documentation, agreements, and governance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Novartis policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Manage milestone reviews and project governance processes.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation of project activities and outcomes.
- Ensure timely reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, and special situations related to Novartis products in accordance with company policies.
Essential Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree desirable where relevant to healthcare systems, market access, or project management.
Experience
- Experience working within healthcare systems and patient pathways.
- Demonstrated project management and delivery experience.
- Experience engaging with external healthcare stakeholders and implementing healthcare solutions.
- Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience collaborating across multifunctional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering measurable outcomes.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 59,360.00 - 84,800.00 - 110,240.00 GBP Annual
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
