About the Role
At PopStroke, we create memorable experiences through great hospitality, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We challenge “the way it’s always been done” and look for better ways to serve our guests and each other.
As a Shuttle Van Driver at our new Orlando I-Drive venue, you’ll help deliver that experience before guests even arrive. You’ll operate a 13-passenger shuttle van, transporting guests to and from PopStroke, the Orange County Convention Center, and designated locations throughout the International Drive area. From welcoming convention attendees to helping visitors enjoy everything I-Drive has to offer, you’ll provide safe, reliable transportation and friendly service on every trip.

Essential Job Duties
- Safely operate PopStroke’s 13-passenger shuttle van, transporting guests between the venue, the Orange County Convention Center, and approved pickup and drop-off locations throughout the I-Drive area.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide courteous, professional service throughout their trip.
- Share helpful information about PopStroke’s golf, food and beverage offerings, and venue experiences.
- Follow all traffic laws, posted speed limits, company transportation procedures, and safe driving practices.
- Confirm passenger counts remain within the vehicle’s approved capacity and ensure passengers are seated and properly secured before departure.
- Assist guests with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, following company procedures.
- Coordinate with venue leadership to manage shuttle schedules, convention traffic, guest requests, and transportation needs.
- Communicate pickup locations, estimated arrival times, delays, and service updates clearly to guests and team members.
- Maintain familiarity with the International Drive area, convention center access points, nearby hotels, and approved shuttle stops.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking tires, lights, mirrors, seat belts, fluid levels, and other safety equipment.
- Promptly report maintenance needs, vehicle damage, safety concerns, accidents, and incidents to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming vehicle interior and exterior.
- Monitor fuel levels and coordinate refueling and scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain accurate trip, mileage, inspection, and incident records as required.
- Adjust driving and communicate service concerns based on weather, traffic, road conditions, and visibility.
- Avoid distractions while driving and follow company policies regarding mobile devices.
- Follow established emergency procedures and promptly contact appropriate assistance when needed.
- Support additional guest service and venue duties as assigned when shuttle service is not required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and its operation, including any required endorsements.
- Driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
- Ability to meet applicable driver eligibility requirements and successfully complete required driving record reviews, screenings, and training.
- Previous shuttle, passenger transportation, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Orlando’s International Drive area and the Orange County Convention Center preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and guest service.
- Clear communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm, exercise sound judgment, and respond appropriately to changing conditions.
- Ability to follow routes, schedules, navigation tools, and written procedures.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods while remaining alert.
- Ability to enter and exit the vehicle repeatedly and perform routine vehicle inspections.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach while assisting guests and maintaining the vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors during pickups, drop-offs, and inspections in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
