We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for a long-term consulting assignment with an international company in Malmö.
You will join a highly skilled engineering environment and work on the development and evolution of modern, large-scale software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience in both Java and JavaScript .
The Assignment
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Develop backend services and APIs using Java
- Develop web-based functionality using JavaScript
- Work with integrations and distributed systems
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Work closely with other engineers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
- Take ownership of solutions from design through implementation and delivery
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong professional experience with Java
- Strong professional experience with JavaScript
- Experience with backend and web application development
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Good understanding of distributed systems and modern software architecture
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with Git and CI/CD
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean code
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Professional proficiency in English
Please note: Strong hands-on experience in both Java and JavaScript is mandatory for this assignment.
