About this role
Role: The Lending Systems Administrator is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of lending and data systems software, and related infrastructure. This position participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that lending and data software systems, and related procedures adhere to the ORNL Federal Credit Union's organizational values and goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- As the Subject Matter Expert, configures and maintains Data and Lending software systems, including Consumer and Mortgage Loan Origination, Collections and Mortgage Servicing. Provides backup to other team members in the lending systems area.
- Engineers System Administrator related solutions for various projects and operational needs.
- Leads new technology projects and becomes primary technical contact for product support, upgrades, etc. and ensures that new processes do not negatively impact current operations.
- Responsible for certain critical business systems and provides end-user support for these systems.
- Recovers from software issues. Coordinates and communicates with impacted constituencies.
- Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all lending systems, and key processes. Reviews system and application logs, and verifies completion of scheduled jobs.
- Applies system patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities. Configures or adds new services as necessary.
- Performs application troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems. Works with third party vendors to test new and modified programs, executes commands, observes operation, corrects errors and revises protocols to facilitate system use and eliminate down time.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned, including but not limited to SharePoint administration.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in application administration and configuration Required
- Experience with Origence, Encompass, Akuvo or MSP Preferred
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Required

- Solid background in server management is a plus
