As Plant Director – Kösching , you will lead one of our key manufacturing sites, ensuring operational excellence, sustainable business performance, and the development of high-performing teams. This role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and impact within a dynamic international automotive environment.

Your Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the overall performance of the manufacturing site, ensuring achievement of business objectives.

- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and corporate standards.

- Deliver customer expectations regarding quality, cost, and on-time delivery.

- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all plant functions.

- Manage the site's profitability, budgets, and overall P&L performance.

- Lead and develop the plant leadership team and promote a high-performance culture.

- Define workforce planning and organizational capability in line with business requirements.

- Ensure effective deployment of problem-solving methodologies throughout the organization.

- Collaborate closely with project and commercial teams to support successful product launches and production ramp-ups.

- Represent the company with customers, local authorities, and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

- University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- Extensive leadership experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.

- Proven track record of leading managers and large cross-functional teams.

- Significant experience in plant management, operations, or general management roles.

- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L and budget ownership.

- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, operational excellence, and continuous improvement principles.

- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people development capabilities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Fluent in English and German.
