About this role
About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially minded and strategic Senior Brand Manager to drive the growth and success of one of our key categories. Reporting to the Region Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term vision and positioning of the brand, delivering sustainable growth, increasing market share, and strengthening competitive advantage.
As a Senior Brand Manager within the marketing team, you will develop and execute both short and long-term brand strategies, ensuring marketing investments deliver measurable results while remaining aligned with business objectives. You will be responsible for managing category performance, influencing key business decisions, and collaborating with stakeholders across the UK business and international teams to bring brand plans to life.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building brands that consumers love.
Main Responsibilities:
You will lead the development and execution of three-year and annual brand strategies, ensuring the brand remains competitive, relevant, and positioned for profitable growth. Working cross-functionally, you will challenge and inspire teams to deliver innovative, consumer-focused marketing plans that support long-term business objectives.
You will be responsible for proposing and managing category budgets, marketing investments, and resource plans, ensuring appropriate allocation of spend across advertising, promotions, research, and innovation activities. Through effective financial management, you will deliver annual profit growth targets and maximise marketing contribution.
A key part of the role involves monitoring market, consumer, and brand performance using a variety of data sources and consumer insights. You will identify opportunities, recommend actions, and lead initiatives that enhance brand performance and accelerate growth.
As the custodian of the brand, you will protect and strengthen brand equity while maintaining Ferrero's reputation and corporate image. You will influence and gain alignment from senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Insights, Commercial teams, Global Category teams, manufacturing sites, and international marketing teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
You will also manage relationships with external agencies and strategic business partners, ensuring they contribute effectively to the achievement of brand objectives and support the delivery of best-in-class marketing activity.
In addition, you will lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture built on collaboration, empowerment, continuous learning, and achievement. You will recruit, coach, motivate, and support team members while identifying opportunities for professional growth and development.
About You:
You are a highly experienced brand marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering successful brand strategies and driving profitable growth. You are equally comfortable developing long-term strategic plans and managing the day-to-day delivery of complex marketing initiatives.
You bring strong commercial awareness and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, influencing business decisions, and balancing brand investment with commercial performance. Your ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviours, and performance data enables you to make informed recommendations and identify opportunities for growth.
You are an influential communicator who can build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, from internal cross-functional teams to international colleagues and external partners. You excel at creating alignment, securing buy-in, and leading others through change.
You are passionate about brand building, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have the ability to articulate a brand's vision clearly and compellingly. Experience leading and developing teams is essential, along with a collaborative leadership style that inspires people to achieve ambitious goals.
An understanding of the UK market and experience working within a complex, international organisation would be advantageous.
