Mahindra Agri Business has a diversified presence across five businesses – Seeds, Seed Potato, Crop Care, Fruits and Micro Irrigation. Digital initiatives are an important enabler of simpler processes, operational effectiveness, and better customer and stakeholder experiences.
We are looking for a Digital Projects & Transformation Manager to drive priority initiatives from definition through implementation, adoption and value realization, working closely with business teams, internal IT teams and external partners.

The Role
As a member of the central team, the individual will coordinate a portfolio of digital projects across Mahindra Agri. The role requires strong program and stakeholder management, an understanding of business processes, technology fluency, and the ability to bring structure, momentum and follow-through to multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive priority digital initiatives across the five Mahindra Agri businesses, bringing structure, momentum and program management discipline through the project lifecycle.
- Manage projects through implementation, ensuring clarity on requirements, scope, ownership, timelines, dependencies and expected business outcomes.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand, challenge and refine requirements, and translate them into clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional requirements for technology teams and partners.
- Act as the interface between business teams, internal IT teams and external vendors, ensuring alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Assess appropriate delivery approaches and partners based on business requirements.
- Lead initiatives across process and workflow automation, customer- and dealer-facing solutions, business applications, data insights and dashboards, custom developments, and AI-enabled use cases.
- Maintain awareness of emerging AI capabilities and relevant technology and vendor ecosystems.
- Support user adoption and track whether implemented initiatives deliver the intended business outcomes and value.
- Maintain portfolio visibility for management, highlighting key risks, dependencies and areas requiring intervention.

Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to implementing and managing IT or digital projects.
- Strong project and program management capability, with the ability to independently drive multiple initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across business teams, internal IT teams and external vendors.
- Ability to understand business processes, challenge and refine requirements, and prepare or validate BRDs and functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of IT concepts, business applications, and process or workflow automation.
- Experience working with technology vendors and implementation partners; familiarity with the relevant application vendor ecosystem would be an advantage.
- Exposure to AI-enabled projects and evolving AI tools and applications would be valuable.
- Experience in an in-house transformation or digital role within an Indian enterprise would be valuable.
- Exposure to agriculture, chemicals, manufacturing or adjacent industries would be preferred, though not mandatory.
- Entrepreneurial, agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced, exciting and evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Management or a related discipline.
