Your Opportunity
As a PA in an accountancy practice, you’ll provide high-level administrative and organisational support to partners or senior accountants. You’ll be the linchpin that keeps schedules, communications and client interactions running smoothly – all while maintaining strict confidentiality and a sharp eye for detail.

How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you will:
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
- Prepare and format documents, reports, and client correspondence
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and post — prioritising and responding as appropriate
- Liaise with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders on behalf of partners
- Maintain client records and ensure compliance with GDPR and AML regulations
- Organise internal meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
- Support with invoicing, timesheets, and basic bookkeeping tasks (if required)
- Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining CRM systems
- Coordinate travel arrangements and event planning
- Dealing with Client Post, scanning or filing
- Ad hoc duties as required

- Relates to technical skills, knowledge application and ability to explain complex concepts
Quality
- Relates to levels of accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, consistency, receptiveness to feedback and continuous improvement and professional scepticism

You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:
Experience
- Proven experience as a PA, ideally in a professional services or financial environment
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, IRIS) is a plus
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
