About this role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform product testing and work closely with our engineering team. This role will help ensure that our test standards are aligned with the practical requirements of the testing performed, while supporting accurate, efficient, and technically sound evaluation processes.

The laboratory collaborates closely with the FACP and security industry to ensure end-use products successfully complete rigorous testing programs and demonstrate compliance with applicable standards.

- University Degree in Electrical Engineering (in related field of work) and 2+ years of equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years’ electronics experience in related FACP/Security industries
- Board/component level experience necessary
- Expert soldering experience necessary
- Experience with using AC/DC power supplies
- Experience with using resistive/inductive loads
- Experience with using Oscilloscopes
- Electronic troubleshooting skills necessary
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze special testing needs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must.
- Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.

Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $64,800 to $86,400 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
