Position Overview

The Manager, Enterprise Systems, is responsible for the operational performance, support delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems within an assigned business process domain. This role leads a team of business systems analysts and third-party application management services (AMS) resources to ensure systems are stable, compliant, and aligned with business operating needs.

The Manager serves as the primary operational leader for their business process tower, with accountability for day-to-day system support, issue resolution, service quality, minor enhancements, and release readiness. This role ensures that enterprise systems are not only functioning reliably but are continuously improving to meet evolving business demands and performance expectations.

In addition to core operational responsibilities, this role plays a key part in advancing AI, automation, and data-driven capabilities within its domain. The Manager identifies opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve system usability, and enhance operational insight through intelligent automation and improved monitoring.

The Manager works in close partnership with the Vice President, Enterprise Business Systems Digital Business Partners (DBPs) to ensure alignment between operations, roadmap priorities, and business needs.

Operational Ownership

- Own end-to-end operational performance of enterprise systems within the assigned business process domain
- Manage and prioritize workload across incidents, requests, and enhancements
- Maintain visibility into backlog, demand, and recurring issues
- Ensure consistent and reliable support outcomes

Service Delivery & Support Management

- Lead incident, problem, and request management processes
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor service performance against SLAs
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base
- Leverage automation to improve support efficiency

AI, Automation & Continuous Improvement

- Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Reduce manual effort and incident recurrence
- Support AI-enabled monitoring and predictive capabilities
- Ensure automation is governed and documented

Financy Legal and Compliance Domain Responsibility Summary

  Leads delivery, support, and continuous improvement of technology capabilities across the Finance, Legal, and Compliance value streams.

  Supports business processes including record-to-report, treasury, tax, planning and forecasting, financial reporting, legal operations, internal controls, and ethics and compliance.

  Ensures business systems are secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and business objectives.

  Drives process standardization, data quality, automation, and operational efficiency to improve financial integrity, transparency, risk management, and decision making.

People Leadership

- Lead and develop business systems analysts
- Define clear roles and expectations

Vendor & Partner Management

- Manage AMS providers and performance
- Track SLAs and service quality
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation

- Ensure compliance with policies and controls
- Support audit and documentation

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, finance, accounting, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a global company, including 5+ years leading teams
- Progressive experience supporting enterprise business systems in Finance, Legal, Compliance, or a closely related domain
- Demonstrated leadership of business systems analysts, managed service providers, or cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong knowledge of incident, problem, change, release, and service-level management practices
- Ability to translate business process needs into practical system support, enhancement, and automation priorities
- Experience managing risk, controls, audit requirements, data quality, and documentation in a regulated environment
- Strong stakeholder communication, vendor management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related Finance, Governance, Risk, Compliance, or enterprise reporting capabilities
- Familiarity with legal operations, ethics and compliance, treasury, tax, planning, forecasting, or record-to-report processes
- Experience applying AI, workflow automation, monitoring, or analytics to improve support quality and operational efficiency
- Working knowledge of SOX controls, data privacy requirements, and enterprise security practices
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization and coordinating resources across regions and time zones
- ITIL, SAP, project management, agile, or other relevant professional certification
