About this role
Develops and executes category plans to drive improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, supplier service levels, coordination, delivery, pricing, lead-times, payments and risk mitigation. Executes category sourcing strategies including development and implementation of RFIs and RFPs, selection criteria, supplier negotiation and ongoing supplier management. Engages with operations, production, sales and other cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing alignment and support of category management or new product introduction goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Category Management.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
- Experience with RAM, SSD, DRAM, NAND Flash, or related memory products.
- Strong supplier management and commercial negotiation experience within the electronics component industry.
- Existing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors in the memory ecosystem are highly valued.
