Position Summary
Based from Cencora's Woking or London offices in the United Kingdom, with straight line reporting to the Corporate Assistant Treasurer, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day Treasury operations of the company’s international in-house bank and broader Treasury activities across the UK. The role will oversee cash and liquidity management, intercompany funding, foreign exchange, payments, banking activities, and related Treasury controls.

Key Responsibilities
Manage Treasury Operations

- Manage day-to-day Treasury operations of Cencora’s in-house bank (AB Finco), including cash positioning, liquidity, intercompany funding, payments, and settlements
- Oversee cash positions across participating entities and support the efficient concentration and deployment of liquidity through the company’s cash pooling structures
- Manage intercompany funding activities, including loan administration, funding requirements, interest calculations, settlements, and coordination of related Treasury documentation.
- Compile and analyze the short-term cash forecast process with local finance for global entities across Alliance Healthcare, World Courier and PharmaLex businesses
- Monitor foreign exchange exposures and execute or coordinate FX transactions and hedging activities in accordance with established Treasury policies and risk parameters
- Manage Treasury payment and settlement activities, ensuring transactions are executed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established controls and approval requirements
- Serve as a key Treasury contact for UK businesses and banking partners, and for supporting day-to-day Treasury activities

Manage Implementation of Treasury Projects

- Enhance the effectiveness of the global cash pool by onboarding more participant entities
- Execute on the transition plan for in-sourcing activities of the Treasury Center from FTI
- Collaborate with Tax, Accounting & Legal to implement in-house banking and the multi-notional cash pool
- Work with banks to open cash pool bank accounts and regional accounts and migrate operational activities to the new structure
- Support the onboarding of entities into the in-house bank and cash pooling structures, coordinating Treasury requirements and documentation with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Compliance and Governance

- Prepare and maintain Treasury reporting, support effective Treasury controls and governance, and provide Treasury information and support for internal and external audit requirements
- Support internal controls activities

Profile & Skills

- Strong knowledge of corporate Treasury operations, including cash and liquidity management, cash pooling, intercompany funding, payments, foreign exchange, and banking
- Strong understanding of Treasury controls, governance, and financial risk management principles
- Experience working with treasury management systems (preferably Kyriba) and global banking platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex financial and operational information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT, banking partners, and other stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 7 years of progressive corporate Treasury experience, with significant hands-on experience in cash management and Treasury operations
- Experience working across multiple legal entities, currencies, and jurisdictions strongly preferred
- Professional Treasury or Finance qualification such as ACT, CTP, or equivalent preferred
