As an Import Analyst, reporting to the International Transport Supervisor, you will coordinate import shipments for a larger site and monitor related administrative processes from order execution to delivery of goods.

Your Title: Import Analyst

Your Location: Mt Olive, NJ

Reporting to: International Transport Supervisor

Salary range for this position based on candidate experience 70.000 -90.000 per year.

In this position you will:

- Monitor transport related activities to meet local Operations objectives
- Lead the Import transportation processes which administer the day-to-day transportation operations international purchases, and shipment of products to the US across all modes of transport in accordance with global transport policies.
- Monitor compliance of international transport of materials/products with import/export regulations and related tax/stamp duties.
- Track shipment(s) on a daily basis and address delivery issues with relevant parties (suppliers, customs, transporters).
- Work in conjunction with customs broker(s) to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are complied with.
- Check conformity of import documents for correct values, commodity classifications, tariff codes and authorizations, and record delivery in SAP.
- Track performance of transportation suppliers, report deviations and implement corrective actions.

Your professional profile includes:

- Technical or Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/ Business Management
- 3 to 4 years of experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment
- 1 to 2 years of experience in imports
- SAP experience;
- Professional Excel (can perform complex functions) knowledge required;
- Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.
- Knowledge of supply chain dependencies and processes.
