## Your Purpose

Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four are currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented  Business Development & Sales professional  to join our newly created luxury travel brand Explora Journeys and lead specific assigned strategic accounts to grow market share, create bias and brand loyalty, identify new business development opportunities and grow the brands visibility in Germany

Sales Manager Germany (m/f/d) to join our team in Hamburg or Northern Germany

## Your Impact

- Manage the defined Go-to-Market strategy for the assigned region, focusing on partner accounts and business development initiatives
- Develop best-in-class relationships that strengthen partner loyalty through focused and consistent communication
- Collaborate with peers and colleagues to leverage sales distribution networks and marketing platforms, ensuring brand consistency, policy compliance and pricing integrity
- Conduct business review meetings and leverage performance data to support revenue generation and achieve gross and net revenue targets
- Contribute to the management of cooperative marketing plans, including ROI tracking and regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) against agreed targets. Lead Pay-for-Performance plans with partners
- Promote group, incentive and charter business across assigned accounts
- Manage the assigned budget and forecasting process, with a strong understanding of channel mix and acquisition cost impact
- Maintain brand and product visibility by participating in relevant trade partner events and professionally planning and executing educational visits
- Proactively identify and develop new trade accounts within the assigned territory that are not yet connected to the brand but have strong potential to generate booking volume, leveraging an established network and market knowledge
- Identify and prioritize target accounts and proactively define and execute weekly commercial activities, including agency visits, sales calls and trade events, submitting relevant activity plans and proposals to the Commercial Director for approval
- Take ownership of business development within the assigned territory by creating new opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships and driving incrementa

## Your Journey so far

- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in Luxury, Hospitality or Travel is required
- Luxury cruise experience is a highly sought
- Excellent sales network and reputation. Known contact base and high knowledge of partners / key accounts in region
- You work collaboratively and establish constructive professional relationships externally with partners and within the organization
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Power BI
- Ideally technically capable of using reservation and CRM platforms; experience with relevant booking and sales systems is considered an advantage
- Fluent in oral and written German and English is a must, any other language is a plus
- Ability to travel minimum 50% of the time
