Process Control Engineer

You will be responsible for strengthening factory process control and industrial automation systems, developing effective standards, and implementing global requirements to improve the efficiency, reliability, and safety of Torbali Factory operations.

Position:

As a Process Control Engineer, you will:

- Manage factory robustification and Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS), including Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Operational Technology (OT) networking, , CyberArk, process control software, and related communication systems.

- Develop strategies and concepts for process control systems in a manufacturing environment, gather technical data for investments and improvements, and consolidate requirements to support smooth implementation.

- Define efficient automation standards using state-of-the-art technology, ensure integration with global standards, prepare roadmaps for control and automation systems, and follow up the Management of Change process.

- Gather technical and automation information for investment projects, prepare specifications and scopes of work, and create BAP documentation when required.

- Manage assigned investment and CapEx projects in close cooperation with requester departments, ensuring compliance with technical standards and CapEx policies and procedures.

- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Integrated Management System (IMS), EHS, energy, and quality requirements, , ensuring that engineering and contractor activities are performed safely and in line with legal and JTI standards.

- Provide training, technical consultation, and know-how transfer to JTI users, engineers, technicians, external suppliers, and Global Engineering stakeholders.

- Manage contractors and engineering installations, monitor systems

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

- Minimum 1 year of engineering experience; project management experience is preferred.

- Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset.

- Advanced software and systems skills.

- Knowledge of process control, industrial automation, IACS, OT networking, and manufacturing systems is preferred.

- Strong project coordination, technical problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in line with EHS, ISO, IMS, legal, and global technical standards.

- A proactive mindset with ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on safety and value creation.

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
