Job Description

Be a trusted leader and category expert in all the Center Store departments. Deliver operational excellence by
coaching, developing, and inspiring others to be the best they can be. Ensure that the highest standards of customer
service and store conditions are provided in all of the center store departments. Support the company’s strategic
plan by achieving the financial goals. Fulfill 1-3 Manager on Duty shifts per week.

Facilitate training programs and skill development

Communicate essential information to the center store team for Dairy, Drug, Frozen, GM, Grocery andLiquor
Identify areas of opportunity (including sales, gross profit, expenses, labor, and TIL), to achieve the financial plan for the center store departments
Manage DSD vendor trade partners and their inventory levels
Manager on Duty-key holder
Partnership with SAS team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Required Education: Please describe (see below)
Other Requirements: Bachelor degree preferred or relevant work experience considered
Minimum Years of Experience: 1 to 3 years

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office Suite, IPad, symbols device (CAO), CT2020 Receiving, SharePoint
Proficient in Schnucks applications (i.e. shelf man, dashboard, Red Prairie, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret financial reports
Ability to plan and execute merchandising excellence in all Center Store departments
Strong knowledge of all six center store departments
Forklift Certification
Receiver Certification
Food Safety Certification Demonstrates resilience, resourcefulness and a positive attitude towards change.
Effective communication-cascading information
Ability to coach, develop, and inspire others to be the best they can be-relationship building
Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality
Planning and organizational skills (Planning, Organization, Execution, and Follow Through)
Routinely lift items over 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods of time

Work Environment

Fully flexible working hours to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, overtime and on-call work. Expected to fill 1-3 manager on duty shifts per week. Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

- Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
