About this role
As a Senior HR Manager for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, you will work closely with all Leaders and managers in these Countries, together with your team of HR Advisors.
In this Role
You will partner with Leadership and management across all IDEXX lines of business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, including our commercial, medical, customer support, laboratory, software and manufacturing organizations.
This position reports to the International Human Resources Sr. Director and manages a team of two Human Resources Business Advisors based in Germany and Switzerland.
The focus of this role is to act as a trusted business partner, driving our people and culture strategy while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and supporting business growth.
You will:
• Partner with leaders and managers to maximize organizational performance across the region.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and HR stakeholders, providing practical and strategic HR guidance.
• Advise on organizational development, team effectiveness, change management, employee relations, total rewards and cultural initiatives.
• Drive and co-own the German country governance body as a strategic component of business growth.
• Lead the implementation of HR change initiatives and strategic people projects.
• Maintain a strong partnership with the Workers Council in Germany to support a fast-paced and growing business environment.
What You Need to Succeed
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or another relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of HR experience within multinational organizations, including partnership with senior business leaders.
• Extensive experience working with Workers Councils in Germany.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated success influencing and partnering with senior leaders.
• Experience within a matrixed, multinational and publicly traded organization is highly valued.
• Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with Workday and AI tools is preferred.
• High emotional intelligence, humility and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing business priorities.
• Strong knowledge of modern HR practices and employment legislation.
• Located near the Stuttgart area and willing to travel regularly within the region (10-20% travel). A minimum onsite presence of 8 days per month in Kornwestheim is expected.
