We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNC Operator on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm. If you have experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines, that would be a plus. This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines in a safe and orderly manner while maximizing production output using efficient and effective methods.

What will you do?

On any given day, your responsibilities would include:

- Operating multiple machines simultaneously while proactively keeping all machines in the department running.

- Making adjustments to assure dimension, tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts.

- Performing inspection of your parts and your co-workers' parts utilizing measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.

- Performing minor editing of current programs.

- Following established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.

- Communicating delays and problems effectively and timely.

You are a great fit if you have the following:

- High school degree or GED

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Self-motivation

- Strong problem solving skills

- Strong understanding of machining practices

- Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments

- 1+ years of machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field

- Ability to work well within a team or independently and a demonstrated initiative to drive for results

- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
