Transaction Services Analyst (Account Maintenance)

As a Transaction Services Analyst, you will maintain and process account and portfolio records across multiple countries for Citi's Treasury and Trade Services function. You will execute daily account maintenance activities, including status changes, account activations, and overdraft line reporting, ensuring accuracy across banking products such as Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, and Letters of Credit. This role sits within a team that supports operations beyond Colombia, giving you exposure to cross-border processes and global banking products.

Responsibilities

- Execute account maintenance tasks, including activations, status changes, and field adjustments on client accounts and basic records.
- Open and amend Letters of Credit, process payments, and resolve customer issues to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Create and maintain reporting on overdraft lines and other account-related data points.
- Set up basic records and portfolios within internal systems, supporting products across multiple countries.
- Analyze incoming data and processes to identify the right course of action when requests are unclear.
- Suggest and apply process improvements as a subject matter expert for your assigned products.
- Respond to requests from internal teams, external clients, and vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Escalate and report control issues with transparency to protect Citi, its clients, and their assets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Working proficiency in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite for reporting and data analysis.
- Intermediate English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of banking products such as Treasury and Trade Services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, or Letters of Credit.
- Ability to manage deadlines and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and sensitivity to data accuracy.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
