To support our Dry Bulk Division at the next possible time, we are looking for a Freight Trader (m/f/d).

Your tasks and responsibilities
. Identify, evaluate and execute profitable freight trading opportunities across global Dry Bulk markets with focus on geared tonnage Develop and originate new business opportunities with charterers, cargo interests, brokers and shipowners Charter vessels and negotiate commercial transactions in support of trading activities Monitor freight markets, vessel supply, cargo flows and market developments to identify opportunities and risks Manage freight positions, market exposure and commercial performance Analyse voyage calculations, TCEs, bunker costs and market fundamentals to support trading decisions Utilise FFAs and other risk management instruments where appropriate Build and maintain long-term relationships with market participants across the shipping and commodity sectors Work closely within a Team across our global Dry Bulk platform in Hamburg and Singapore
Your profile
Proven experience in freight trading, chartering and hedging Strong understanding of freight markets, voyage economics and shipping fundamentals Established network within the shipping and commodity markets Strong commercial judgement and entrepreneurial mindset Excellent analytical and numerical skills Ability to identify opportunities and develop business independently Confident negotiator with strong relationship management skills Collaborative team player with an international outlook
