Job Summary:

The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and execution of end-to-end supply chain operations supporting Teledyne FLIR operations, engineering, and business objectives. This position oversees procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory management, supplier development, and supply chain risk management to ensure a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable supply chain. The Director partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Program Management, and Commercial teams to align supply chain strategies with customer demand, operational requirements, business growth initiatives, and financial objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives and customer commitments.
- Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory control, and supplier management functions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for supplier quality, delivery, inventory, and cost performance.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and relationship management activities.
- Drive SIOP processes and inventory optimization efforts.
- Partner with Operations to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain personnel.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, ISO, and other applicable requirements.
- Support audits and provide supply chain performance reporting.
- 10-20% travel required.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
- 5+ years leading supply chain organizations in manufacturing.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA or advanced degree.
- CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or government contracting.
- Knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical supply chains.

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
