Department overview
The Partnerships Team, working alongside Compliance, is responsible for the sourcing, growth and management of a network of global third-party commercial relationships. The team introduces the Group to private and corporate entities across a wide range of jurisdictions and industries.
Job Overview
As a member of the Partnerships team, the Partnerships Operations Analyst acts as the operational and analytical backbone of the desk. The role supports partner onboarding, account management, reporting, data quality, commission processes and reactivation initiatives, enabling the commercial team to focus on relationship management and revenue generation. Working closely with the Head of EU Partnerships, the Partnerships Operations Analyst will also interact with Finance, Compliance, Operations and Technology to ensure accurate data, timely reporting and smooth partner activation.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Partner account support and dormant account management, such as:
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Head of EU Partnerships and the Partnerships desk across the existing partner portfolio.
- Maintaining an up-to-date view of partner and referred client account status (active, slowing, dormant, inactive).
- Identifying dormant and inactive accounts, analysing inactivity drivers and preparing prioritised reactivation lists for front office outreach.
- Tracking the progress and outcomes of reactivation initiatives for management review.
- Logging and routing operational partner queries to the relevant function and reporting on volumes and resolution times.
Onboarding and activation support, such as:
- Coordinating partner and referred client onboarding from signed agreement to activation, reporting cycle times and exceptions.
- Setting up and maintaining partner and referral records in FXDB, CRM and connected systems.
- Preparing onboarding checklists, status trackers and internal updates for Partnerships, Sales, Compliance and Operations.
- Maintaining the internal library of approved partner documentation, templates and Partner Portal reference material.
Data management, reporting and analysis, such as:
- Running scheduled data quality controls and correcting duplicates, incomplete records and inconsistent classifications at source.
- Reconciling data across FXDB, the finance ledgers and the reporting layer, investigating and documenting every break.
- Building and maintaining the partnerships data model and reporting calendar (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly).
- Analysing referral, activity, revenue and conversion trends, including segmentation, forecasting and ad hoc analysis.
Commission, front office and control support, such as:
- Preparing and reconciling commission calculations and supporting documentation for Finance validation.
- Preparing pre-meeting packs and drafting proposal, pitch and tender documentation from approved templates.
- Supporting Compliance, Financial Crime and Legal with partner due diligence documentation and audit or regulatory data requests.
- Escalating data errors, control failures and unexplained reconciliation breaks through the agreed route.
General responsibilities, such as:
- Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and administrative processes using approved tools.
- Writing specifications for reporting, data and CRM changes and performing user acceptance testing before go-live.
- Maintaining written procedures for every recurring task to ensure continuity and smooth handovers.
Business Knowledge / Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Law or a related field. A non-quantitative degree is acceptable where supported by demonstrable analytical work.
- Preferable experience in operations, sales support, business support, data analysis, management information or a middle/back office role.
- Strong attention to detail, with an "accuracy before speed" mindset and comfort with methodical, repeatable control work.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into clear language for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage several deadlines at once under a fixed reporting calendar, flagging slippage early.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Languages:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Fluency in other European languages will be a plus.
