About the Role:
We are looking for a Process Analyst – Procurement Buyer to join our Procurement team in Bangalore. The role will be responsible for supporting procurement operations, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, managing requisitions and catalogs, supporting tactical sourcing activities, managing vendor performance, and providing operational support to business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Procurement/P2P operations , strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Policy & Requisition Management
- Monitor, drive, and enforce PO policy compliance across procurement activities.
- Review and approve non-catalog requisitions in accordance with established policies and processes.
- Ensure requisitions and purchase orders are processed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Provide guidance to business stakeholders on procurement policies and processes.
Catalog Management
- Maintain and ensure procurement catalogs are accurate and up to date .
- Perform quarterly catalog audits and market basket reviews.
- Identify and resolve catalog-related issues to ensure an efficient purchasing experience.
Tactical Sourcing
- Support spot-buy activities and low-spend RFQ/RFP processes.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and support the selection of appropriate vendors.
- Ensure sourcing activities are aligned with procurement policies and business requirements.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Support vendor performance monitoring and maintain vendor scorecards.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors.
- Track vendor performance and support resolution of service, delivery, or quality-related issues.
Business & Procurement Support
- Provide Level 1 support to business stakeholders for queries related to: Purchase requisitions, Purchase orders, Receipts, Delivery addresses, Procurement system issues, Invoice holds
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve procurement-related issues within defined timelines.
Spend Analytics & Reporting
- Support spend analytics and identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
- Prepare and publish monthly KPI reports related to procurement performance.
- Analyse procurement data and provide insights to support decision-making and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline .
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Strategic/Tactical Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Procurement Operations.
- Good understanding of Procurement and P2P processes .
- Experience working with Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, catalogs, RFQs/RFPs, and vendor management .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel , including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams .
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within defined SLAs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP/Procurement systems .
- Exposure to spend analytics and procurement reporting .
- Experience with vendor scorecards and performance management .
- Knowledge of Procurement compliance and purchasing policies .
- Exposure to RFQ/RFP and tactical sourcing activities .
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
