DIGITAL MEDIA OPERATIONS

& ANALYTICS SPECIALIST

One part consultancy. One part ad agency. One part technology company.

We are a marketing and technology lab - leveraging curiosity, data-driven insights, technology and more than 25 years of market expertise to pinpoint and solve our clients' business challenges.

We are a team of self-starting problem-solvers. We are ambitious, resilient, fast-paced and constantly looking to add curious, passionate and solution-focused individuals to our team.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a workplace that respects and values diversity and inclusion.

If you are comfortable working at the intersection of media, data and technology, get excited about making complex reporting smarter and more useful, and approach your craft with accuracy, curiosity and enthusiasm - this might just be the place for you.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Digital Media Operations & Analytics Specialist who can help strengthen how we execute, measure, analyze and optimize digital media campaigns.

This role will have primary responsibility for campaign reporting and analytics, AI-enabled reporting solutions, campaign tagging, pixel implementation and data quality.

Working closely with our Media and Digital Teams, you will help ensure campaigns and client work are accurately tracked, performance data is reliable and reporting translates campaign results into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

A key component of the position will be leveraging AI and automation platforms to improve the efficiency, accuracy and strategic value of media reporting and analysis - while maintaining strong human oversight and data-quality standards.

WHAT DOES A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIGITAL MEDIA OPERATIONS & ANALYTICS SPECIALIST AT THETURNLAB LOOK LIKE?

Working closely with the Media and Digital Teams, you will support the operational and analytical foundation of our digital campaigns - from setup and tracking through reporting, QA, optimization and insight development.

- Manage recurring digital campaign reporting across clients and platforms.

- Utilize AI-enabled tools to automate data collection, reporting, analysis and identification of performance trends.

- Develop dashboards and reporting templates that reduce manual reporting requirements and make campaign performance easier to understand.

- Analyze campaign performance across channels, audiences, creative, geography and other variables.

- Identify trends, anomalies and optimization opportunities, translating data into concise insights and recommendations for Media and Account teams.

- Develop and manage campaign naming conventions, UTMs, tracking parameters and campaign taxonomy to ensure consistent measurement across platforms.

- Coordinate and QA implementation of pixels, conversion events and other campaign tracking requirements.

- Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies and work with internal teams, publishers, platforms and client/web teams to resolve issues.

- Validate campaign data across ad servers, media platforms, analytics platforms and reporting environments.

- Identify discrepancies before reporting reaches clients and maintain strong data-governance standards.

- Support campaign setup, trafficking and launch QA to ensure media plans are translated accurately into digital platforms and measurement frameworks.

- Continuously evaluate AI, analytics and automation tools that can improve campaign measurement, workflow efficiency and the quality of client reporting.

WHAT VALUE WILL YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM?

You are very comfortable with data, but you also understand media. You do not simply populate a report - you can look at campaign performance and understand what the numbers are telling the Media and Digital teams.

You are detail-oriented, curious and comfortable working across platforms, datasets and teams. You understand that better reporting starts with accurate implementation, consistent taxonomy and reliable data.

You will ideally bring:

- 2-4 years of digital media, ad operations, marketing analytics or campaign measurement experience.

- Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets capabilities.

- Familiarity with platforms such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Campaign Manager 360, Meta, Google Ads, DV360 and/or other DSPs.

- A strong working understanding of CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA/CPL, conversion rate, reach, frequency and other media and performance KPIs - and, importantly, what those metrics are actually telling the team.

- Experience using generative AI and/or AI-enabled analytics tools to accelerate reporting, interrogate datasets, identify trends and automate repetitive workflows.

- The ability to validate AI-generated outputs rather than accepting them at face value.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data anomalies and troubleshoot measurement issues.

- A disciplined approach to campaign naming, tagging, tracking, QA and data governance.

- The ability to translate data into clear, concise insights and actionable recommendations.

- A collaborative approach to working across Media, Digital, Account and client/web teams.

- Genuine curiosity about media technology, analytics, automation and how AI can improve the quality and efficiency of our work.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Success in this role means moving theturnlab's media reporting toward an increasingly automated, AI-assisted reporting and analytics environment - while maintaining rigorous campaign tracking, measurement accuracy and human oversight.

Our objectives are to:

- Reduce manual reporting time.

- Improve tagging and tracking accuracy.

- Identify campaign insights and optimization opportunities faster.

- Provide Media teams with cleaner, more reliable data for optimization and client recommendations.

- Build reporting and analytics processes that become smarter and more scalable over time.

THE QUESTIONS YOU NATURALLY ASK

We are looking for someone who does not simply ask, "What numbers go into the report?" Instead, you naturally ask:

Is the campaign being tracked correctly?

Can we trust the data?

What is driving the performance we are seeing?

Is there an anomaly or a real trend here?

What can we automate without compromising accuracy?

What should the Media and Digital teams do differently based on what the data is telling us?

How can AI help us get to the insight faster - and how do we validate the output?

If this sounds like the way you think about media operations, analytics and reporting, we'd like to meet you.

We welcome and encourage applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
