About this role
Position Overview:
SoftWave TRT is hiring a high-performing Medical Device Sales Representative to join our sales team in our Alpharetta, GA office. This is a hunter role for a proven closer who sells by phone and Microsoft Teams, takes deals from first interest to signed agreement, and is never satisfied with last quarter’s number.
You will work a steady flow of company-generated leads, build additional pipeline through outbound prospecting, and sell SoftWave technology to practitioners across Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Direct Primary Care, Orthopedic, and Regenerative Medicine practices. You will learn the science behind our device, explain its clinical applications with credibility to each type of provider, and guide practices to a confident buying decision.
The people who win here combine a relentless work ethic with discipline: every lead gets followed up, every opportunity in the CRM is current, and every commitment is kept. If you have a verifiable record at the top of the stack rank, take ownership of your results without excuses, and want to compete alongside a team that holds itself to a high standard of character, accountability, teamwork, and performance, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
• Own the full sales cycle from interest to close. Run discovery, qualify hard, deliver compelling virtual presentations over Microsoft Teams, handle objections, navigate pricing and ROI conversations, and close decisively with clear decision timelines. (20% of time)
• Prospect by phone, every day. Spend the majority of each day on the phone generating new opportunities through high-volume, high-quality outbound calling to practitioners across all target verticals. Treat the phone as your primary tool and own your daily activity standards. (25% of time)
• Work company-generated leads with relentless follow-up. Respond quickly to every inbound and marketing-generated lead, execute a disciplined follow-up cadence, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks between first touch and signed agreement. (15% of time)
• Translate the technology into clinical value. Develop a strong working knowledge of the SoftWave device and its clinical applications, and clearly explain how it fits the patient population, workflow, and business model of each practice type, from
chiropractors and physical therapists to orthopedic and regenerative medicine providers. (10% of time)
• Manage the CRM daily. Keep every lead, contact, opportunity, activity, and next step accurate and current in the CRM by the end of each day so pipeline, forecasts, and handoffs can be trusted. (10% of time)
• Collaborate across internal functions. Work closely with marketing, clinical and education, customer success and onboarding, operations, and leadership. Share field feedback on lead quality and messaging, coordinate clinical support for prospects, and ensure a clean post-close handoff that leads to successful provider activation. (10% of time)
• Own your number and your forecast. Be accountable for meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly quota, commit only deals with clear buyer intent, and report pipeline and forecast accurately to sales leadership. (5% of time)
• Continuously sharpen your game. Participate in call reviews, coaching, and ongoing product and clinical training; use performance metrics to improve conversion rates and shorten sales cycles. (5% of time)
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Required:
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and professional sales experience.
• Minimum experience: 3+ years of full-cycle B2B closing experience, including at least 2 years selling medical devices, med-tech, or capital equipment to healthcare providers, primarily by phone and virtual meetings.
• Demonstrated, verifiable track record of taking deals from initial interest to close and consistently meeting or exceeding quota; prepared to share performance history such as quota attainment and stack rankings.
• Hunter mentality: comfortable and energized spending most of the day on the phone prospecting, following up, and closing.
• Ability to quickly learn technical concepts of a medical device and clearly describe its clinical applications to physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other providers.
• Ability to sell across multiple clinical verticals, adapting the conversation to different practice types, decision-makers, and business models.
• Disciplined pipeline management; able to manage a high volume of company-generated leads without letting anything slip.
• Daily CRM discipline and working proficiency with a CRM such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Go High Level, or similar, along with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• High level of personal accountability, coachability, and integrity; a team-first approach and strong character.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident, professional presence on the phone and on camera.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal functions and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite, full time, in our Alpharetta, GA office.
Preferred:
• Experience selling high-ticket capital equipment to private, cash-pay medical practices.
• Direct experience selling into Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Direct Primary Care, Orthopedic, or Regenerative Medicine practices.
• Familiarity with shockwave, regenerative, musculoskeletal, or pain-management technologies.
• Experience guiding customers through equipment financing or leasing conversations.
• President’s Club or comparable top-performer recognition.
Physical Requirements:
• Sitting for extended periods of time, with some standing and walking
• Extended use of a computer, telephone, and headset
• Lifting and carrying, up to 25 lbs (occasional)
• Manipulation of objects and materials, including holding, grasping, turning, and touching
• Hearing, in-person and through the telephone or electronic device (such as a computer)
• Speaking, in-person and through the telephone or electronic device (such as a tablet or computer)
• Visual acuity, both near (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 inches or less) and far (i.e. clarity of vision of approximately 20 feet or more)
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance
