Job Summary
The Assistant Director, Gift and Data Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of the data integrity and gift processing program. Assists in administration of the donor database and data entry activities. Will ensure that the highest privacy and HIPAA standards are maintained for constituent information. Ensures proper gift coding, deposit and credit card reconciliation, and financial month-end data integrity. Works closely with CHOC Finance Department and other CHOC departments in the identification and usage of donated funds. Assists in the creation and documentation of policies and procedures related to donor information collection and entry, gift acceptance, and gift processing. Assists with implementation of software and hardware upgrades, and other projects with the IS Department.
Pay Range
Minimum $53,955 Midpoint $80,912 Maximum $107,890
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
• Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a financial or gift processing environment.
• Preferred: Experience working in a nonprofit or not for profit environment.
Education
• Required: Associate's degree in Business and additional two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business.
Training
• Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
• Required: Motivated self - starter with the ability to work effectively under deadlines both independently and as part of a team. Ability to understand and meet data needs and multiple information priorities. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and donor database software. Ability to evaluate and recommend efficient data management tools and procedures. Blackbaud Raiser's Edge software experience.
