About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
- Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries during school hours.
- Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and authorized.
- Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and develop care plans.
- Conduct health screenings and participate in health promotion programs.
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns.
- Ensure compliance with UAE health regulations and school health policies.
- Support infection control and health awareness initiatives within the school.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Filipino Nationality.
- Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter .
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in school, pediatric, or community healthcare settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage emergencies effectively.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
