Link Logistics is seeking a Senior Manager, Legal Operations Technology to evolve the legal department’s technology ecosystem and enable the delivery of legal services through technology. Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Legal Operations this role sits at the intersection of legal, technology, and process improvement - responsible for ensuring the legal team’s tools and workflows drive measurable efficiency and advising leadership on how emerging technology, including AI, should shape the department’s technology strategy. The ideal candidate brings a demonstrated track record of building, optimizing, and evolving the technology ecosystem that enables a modern legal function. They possess deep expertise in legal technology platforms, including hands-on administration, configuration, and optimization, complemented by strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technology Ownership & Workflow Optimization
- Serve as the Legal department’s owner for multi-year Legal Technology transformation initiatives, including oversight of the program budget for the Legal department, keeping Legal Leadership apprised of progress and concerns.
- Maintain deep familiarity with the existing legal tech stack and collaborate with the broader Legal and IT teams to redesign and streamline workflows.
- Identify process optimization opportunities and participate in the mapping of future-state process designs to enhance the delivery of legal services.
- Build workflows in low-code/no-code legal technology solutions (e.g., CLM and ELM tools) and oversee day-to-day upkeep.
- Ensure technology decisions and configurations align with evolving business needs of the Legal department.
- Serve as the day-to-day primary liaison with Link’s Technology team for technology implementations, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Triage and manage business-side support requests and escalations, coordinating with Link’s Technology team on root-cause resolution.
- Develop and maintain a regular cadence for updating standard form agreements, intake forms, templates, playbooks, workflows, FAQs, and quick reference guides.
Strategic Enablement & Training
- Partner with Legal Operations leadership to align technology strategy with departmental and business goals.
- Serve as the Legal department’s subject-matter expert on emerging legal technologies, including AI, automation, and analytics, to recommend changes to the tech stack that will increase productivity and drive efficiency.
- Deliver training initiatives to ensure maximum utilization of tools across the legal team and business partners.
- Partner with IT, Product Management, and Business Analysts to coordinate and execute discovery, requirement gathering, preparing recommendations, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system implementations and enhancements, tracking defects and confirming business readiness for go-live.
Data, Metrics, & Change Management
- Identify, track, and interpret key performance metrics across legal technology platforms.
- Demonstrate return on investment and uncover opportunities for further automation or process improvement.
- Drive Change Management activities and communications associated with Legal Technology initiatives to ensure adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, or a related technology-management role within an in-house legal department or law firm innovation/operations function.
- Experience leading the business side of legal technology platforms such as Ironclad, Litify, Josef, and Legal Tracker (or comparable CLM, matter management, or e-billing tools) with ownership of implementations, identifying system enhancement opportunities, process improvement, training, and adoption across platforms
- Prior hands-on experience as a developer or administrator, with the ability to apply that technical background to low-code/ no-code legal technology solutions (e.g., CLM and ELM).
- Practical experience building workflows in AI-based tools to further automate the delivery of legal services, such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or Harvey, along with experience defining governance, evaluation criteria, and use-case prioritization for AI-assisted legal workflows.
- Systems thinking at a portfolio level, able to connect legal business strategy to a coherent operating model across systems, and comfort with ambiguity and change in evolving environments.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including executive-level written and verbal communication and the ability to influence across varied audiences.
Preferred
- Experience in commercial real estate, industrial, or another asset-intensive industry.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology solutions such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and Yardi.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models (e.g., backlog input, UAT, sprint participation) is a plus.
- Active participation in the legal operations ecosystem through organizations such as CLOC, ACC Legal Operations, LegalOps.com, or equivalent industry certifications and credentials.

$120,000 - $140,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
