About this role
About SBI
SBI Growth Advisory is the Growth Intelligence firm for B2B companies that cannot afford to guess. We help CEOs, private equity leaders, and go-to-market executives turn fragmented data into clear decisions across strategy, operations, talent, and execution. Our marketers must operate the same way: connect the signal, make the decision, and move the work forward.
The opportunity
SBI is looking for a smart, curious, highly resourceful person at the beginning of their marketing career. You do not need years of professional experience. You do need evidence that you take initiative, learn quickly, care about the quality of your work, and finish what you start.
You will work across social media, content, webpages, HubSpot, events, campaigns, reporting, and AI-enabled marketing. At first, you will execute defined assignments with coaching and review. As your judgment and skills grow, you will take independent ownership of recurring work and smaller programs.
What you will do and learn
- Campaign execution. Help turn campaign plans into finished work by managing checklists, deadlines, assets, links, approvals, QA, launch details, and results tracking.
- Content and social. Research topics; draft and edit posts, emails, and short-form content; repurpose longer material; schedule and publish social content; and track what earns attention.
- Web and conversion. Build and update HubSpot CMS pages, forms, and CTAs using established templates. Test every path, fix straightforward issues, and learn the fundamentals of conversion and SEO.
- HubSpot and data. Create campaigns, lists, emails, and simple workflows with guidance. Maintain accurate records, follow naming and governance standards, and help keep reporting trustworthy.
- Support webinars, executive dinners, conferences, and other programs through invitations, registration, speaker coordination, materials, logistics, attendee support, and follow-up.
- AI-enabled marketing. Use approved AI tools for research, drafting, repurposing, analysis, and workflow improvement. Check the work carefully, protect confidential information, and document useful approaches.
- Team operations. Keep project information current, communicate status clearly, surface risks early, and help wherever the team needs extra hands to meet an important deadline.
What success looks like in the first 90 days
- First 30 days. Learn SBI's audiences, offers, voice, systems, quality standards, and active priorities. Complete assigned HubSpot training, observe how campaigns are built, and become reliable on essential recurring tasks.
- By day 60. Own several recurring responsibilities; draft and publish approved social content; build supervised emails or webpages; contribute to an event or campaign launch; and demonstrate one useful AI-assisted workflow.
- By day 90. Independently run a defined marketing workstream or small campaign from brief through QA, launch, and results readout. Show that you can anticipate next steps, catch errors, ask good questions, and improve the process for the next time.
The skills and qualities you will need
- Clear, concise writing and the willingness to revise it based on direct feedback.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the discipline to follow work through to completion.
- Resourcefulness: you investigate, try sensible solutions, and bring a recommendation when you ask for help.
- Curiosity about B2B growth, marketing, buyer behavior, technology, and how businesses make money.
- Comfort learning digital tools. Familiarity with HubSpot, Canva, CMS platforms, spreadsheets, analytics, or project-management tools is helpful but not required.
- Practical comfort with AI tools and a healthy instinct to verify facts, protect data, and improve weak output.
- Good visual judgment for everyday social, email, presentation, and webpage assets.
- Professional communication and the confidence to ask questions when the purpose, priority, or standard is unclear.
- A low-ego, high-effort approach: no task is beneath you, feedback is useful, and mistakes are fixed rather than hidden.
Experience and education
- No full-time professional marketing experience is required. This role is designed for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of relevant experience.
- Internships, campus organizations, freelance projects, volunteer work, student publications, personal projects, and portfolio work all count when they demonstrate initiative and finished output.
- Evidence that you have built or shipped something: a campaign, event, website, newsletter, social channel, research project, student initiative, small business project, or AI-enabled workflow.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. No specific major is required.
